Independence Day Lili
Sassy Lili
If you started here at my blog, I highly recommend you go back to Inky Inspirational Blog, and, to quote Julie Andrews in the Sound of Music - start at the very beginning, it's a very good place to start!
Today I am featuring the absolutely darling Gardening Lili. Now since I'm a girl that doesn't mind digging in the dirt, I think Lili and I are kindred spirits. I believe that while she thoroughly enjoys being featured on a card, she probably prefers to be used on something a little "garden functional", if you get my dirt, I mean drift. That being said, I decided to feature Miss Lili on a seed packet. Take a look. . .
I started with this wonderful seed packet template from Fine Gardening. . .
After making the folds on the dotted lines, I chose some wonderful pattern paper from Cosmo Cricket called Garden Variety and layered it under Miss Lili and her garden. I then inserted a seed packet. . .
And, as you can see from my first picture, I then tied some coordinating twine from The Twinery which allowed for the seed packet to be easily opened. It's a super fun project and would be awesome for garden store gift card as well!
Now I love that you've been allowing me to "dish the dirt" - but it's time to head on over to see the fabulous stamping queen, Jackie Rakoski! Check out Jackie's Blog to see her new Inky creation!
Oh, and one last "seed" of information. . .there is an AWESOME INKY prize package waiting for one lucky Inky lover! Make sure you leave a comment at each stop along the way because the prize package is INKY amazing! The winner will receive:
